The All Hazards Training Center at the University of Findlay offers dynamic training for individuals and teams responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment for our school children. The need for this training is clear:
". . . every day, at least 35,000 students bring guns into schools, 160,000 students skip school to avoid physical abuse, 6,250 teachers are threatened with bodily harm, while 260 educators are victimized by their students."
School administrators must be prepared to address the entire range of school security issues from threats to bullying/ fighting, from weapons/contraband to kidnapping and assault.
